[Truth be told, Nora wishes she questioned her memories more actively as well. But perhaps, the allure of having a real parent after not having one so long, and having Pokemon to add to her family, had allowed her to get so caught up in those fake memories.
She had kept her distance from him for a while after she finally went back to her real home - well, her real home here in Verens, anyway. Nora understood the need for space and she was more than willing to give it to him, but now that he was the one approaching her, she wasn't about to turn him away.

[ he's not very comfortable thinking about why he didn't question the clear discrepancies in his memory more (a teenage daughter at age 25? highly unlikely), but he has an idea. he feels protective of nora -- those emotions might have attributed to why he was so ignorant to his own intuition. ]
I'm sure it goes without saying, but I wanted to apologize for how I acted. I should have questioned what was happening more thoroughly.

It felt strange, living with our different memories and the lives we thought we had, but I wouldn't say I felt uncomfortable.
[It's true. The memories that didn't quite fit right, having to explain to people that she was Steven's adopted daughter despite the small age gap between them...they were all odd. But living with Steven? It felt...good, to experience even for a short while having a family that wasn't entirely comprised of teenagers.]
